Well, after several long torturous weeks of no flying I finally managed to get in the air today. The pic on the left is Merryweather launch site and the beach is my landing zone. More advanced pilots can top land at this site and I long for the day to be able to do this coz I tell you now it ain't fun landing all the way down on the beach and carrying it back... If you look carefully at the beach, you will see where another glider has landed.I wasn't happy with todays flight for a number of reasons but mainly I think (well, I know) I'm just being too hard on myself. Sadly, my profession and former lifestyle (and being a girl) has ingrained in me the need to be perfect and when I come up short, I'll berate myself more than neccessary. So, I'll concentrate on the good things about the flight and the fact it was still a fantastic day. Many thanks to Donny, Tony and Stewie for making today possible. =)

I've read the Wasabi the Duck story and love it. It reminds me of when I left High School. I went on a little holiday with one of my best friends Kathrine and we did a similar thing but without the blog.
Based on a 'Bill and Ted's Big Adventure' We wrote big signs and took close up photos of a teddy in different locations.
It was lame compared to Wasabi's adventures, but I feel inspired now!!
